I agree, we need more in attack unless Chiesa turns into a goal monster. Which maybe he could.
so the thoery and hope is that with ronaldo gone the goals will be more distributed evenly around the players. problem is then you need dybala to play well 24/7 because we know morata can't be relied upon and kulsevksi and berna are jokes.

that does leave a lot on chiesa's shoulders but dude seems like the type to rise to challenges.

If Dybala gets back to his best under Max which is ~25 goals in all comps, and Chiesa takes a step up from his 15 goals last year to 20 this year, then Morata + Kean (or whoever we get) need to score another 20ish goals between them and we in good shape for forward goals. Dybala really is the guy who will make or break our attack this year, post-Ronaldo.

agreed on both counts. Dybala staying healthy is a big IF at the moment

I don’t want to see him get 25 goals in half a season and then be hurt the rest. He’s great but I still think you need something more. Especially if we wanna compete for CL too

Oh, I agree 100%. But we clearly aren’t signing a Haaland or Vlahovic in the next 4 days, so we shall have to make do with hoping for the best from our current players, plus maybe someone like Kean. Next summer is when we might see that big splash.

Dybala didn’t get hurt all that often in his 3 top seasons under Max. Where he averaged 23 goals in 3200 minutes/season. That’s the Dybala I want to see this year again. And Morata, however inconsistent and annoying he can be has scored and assisted at under 100 minutes/ goal contribution in the 3 seasons he has played at Juve. If that continues he’ll do fine as a one year stopgap, especially if backed up by a talented young striker like Kean. Add in Chiesa scoring 15-20 and assisting 10-15 and we’re in pretty good shape imo. We aren’t winning CL but the idea of that this season is kind of preposterous anyways given the holes all over the squad.

I expect scudetto plus CL quarters with this group.

Allegri is not desperate about Ronaldo leaving. He believes it’s easier to rebuild a team without his tactical misunderstandings and his lack of aptitude for sacrifice and teamwork.Allegri wants a team that finds, hunger, responsibility and collective application. @guido_vaciago

With Ronaldo gone, in Allegris conference he said chiesa is a striker and Mckennie is an attacking mid. Should I be worried?
He said Chiesa is an attacker and McKennie is an offensive mid.

Coaches (especially Allegri) don't think of positions in traditional terms like we fans do. He always talks about characteristics, not specific positions. That's why he called Dybala 'box to box' player, because he thought he can do it all, like KDB does, all over the pitch. He has characteristics to make impact on any part of the pitch.

Chiesa is an attacker, his main strength is being able to get forward at speed and finish chances with goals or assists. He's as concrete as they come, no dancing around. He gets the ball and goes at defenders immediately.

Vidal for him was also an offensive mid because he could get forward and score goals. Doesn't mean McKennie cannot contribute defensively, but his main strength is his athleticism and scoring goals coming in late in the box.
