Why?

As I said in the summer of 2019, typically when changes are made in any capacity they are upgrades/improvements. We made downgrades in the name of "modern" football. People were clearly deluded between style vs trophies.

and here we are two summers later lol
Meanwhile some smart posters "I see, so this was the plan from the beginning. As I predicted. 100M Pjanics throwing a hissy for nothing as usual lmao"

We still have to figure out what Grosso was doing in that puzzle.

It was great intel from VS though
Sounds familiar. Nedved replacement?

That’s what I’ve read too. Seems it was both who pushed for his exit, but Allegri and Paratici had a proper falling out. Allegri is also apparently close with Cherubini and the two met up at a bar a few weeks ago. I think the plans have been in place for a few months tbh.
Yep.
As well as the meeting with Agnelli

Been saying it for a while

THIS

It's incredible how people claim we needed to change from Max yet here we are two years later being linked to his return and they are still claiming we needed to change and praising his potential return

Yeah it's total lunacy we could have had 10 in a row and deep into champions. We had a proven coach who wanted to fix the aging issues in a team. So stupidly the fans nedved and paratici decided why keep winning let's sign something shit coach and patch the team with shit transfers.
We didn't need change we needed to continue Max's vision

Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying we had to change, quite the contrary actually. But there were a lot of people who thought that change was necessary. A hell of a lot of people.

My stance hasn't changed these past few years. I always though moving on from Allegri was a risky thing to do. But not necessarily a disaster.
And then it turned out Sarri would replace him & I had to come to terms with the fact that it was going to be a disaster after all.

(Also, I never thought & still don't think replacing Allegri was the only or main issue. Countless terrible decisions have been made over the past few years.)

Im not sure what to expect from this. Obviously any move that means Pirlo is getting the fuck out makes me very happy but another year of different team vision (3rd in a row) with limited funds could very well mean another shit season. The current roster also isn’t great for Allegris game plan eventho he if anyone should be able to find some way to make it work.

Different vision is better than no vision at all

Can you name a coach who's gameplan fits with this current roster?

I can't

We have to steady the ship and start getting back our mojo. Max is best suited to that right now. The earlier we start the better.

Define shit season

Allegri will provide us stability and at worse, make us challenge for the title. That's what we need right now.

Given Inter's implosion with their finances, I think we start as favorites for scudetto again actually.
