One question.
The 4-3-1-2 Allegri loves is reminiscent of the Ancelotti days with Gattuso-Pirlo-Seedorf-Kaka in the mid, correct?
As far as I remember, that team succeeded based in Kaka's main strength: athleticism, acceleration and football IQ to push for counters. That team had no width, but they didn't need it as their game was mostly based on counters, based on Kaka's style. Is this correct?
Now, Juventus is definitely NOT a counter attack team. We will continue to press up high and build the game. How can this be made without width?
I feel that given our style it will be hard to succeed in a 4312 trying to build and control the game. It will be pretty hard to create clear chances. We should lack verticality.
Maybe we'll just keep our beloved 352 then.
