Imo we are better off with only one striker

That means selling one of Dybala or Higuain

Dybala will have to change into an out and out striker, i'm sure if he is surrounded by 2 wingers he will adapt and score goals

Higuain is declining so probably makes sense to sell him but knowing the management Dybala will be sold somewhere down the line

Definitely I agree with you that this has to be addressed we are tactically limited with Dybala and Higuain when they play together

Lets see what the management does, I think this Summer could get quite interesting for us
You can’t see Dybala playing inside right forward?

He usually drifts to the right anyway. He doesn’t have to be an outright winger. He can play the same position CR7 does these days (but on the right).

He's usually ineffective there, maybe it's the tactics maybe it's him but he's not suited to the role from what i've seen

I don’t mind the “level below the best” comment, as long as it doesn’t imply he sees no point in fighting it’s simply a factual statement (and different from what Conte said for the very reason). What I find very cowardly was his implying that being eliminated by Tottenham would be somehow natural and not a big surprise, because apparently he thought a more experienced better equipped Juventus who reached two finals in the last three years and Tottenham had an equal chance of advancing to the next round. That was also extremely disheartening for me as a ridiculously optimistic fan.
I understand, and i agree. His words better get the expected result.

Kinda miss the 16/17 vide. The entire "its time" campaign, and than go full frontal against barcelona and win 3-0.

Mandzukic shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11 at Wembley. We'll need goals to advance, not defensive stability.

Higuain, Costa and Dybala should start. Mandzu can come on as a supersub if we desperately need one.

Mandzukic is always essential for this juventus unless we have a perfectly working machine in all departments

We most certainly have not. We need Mandzukic, he offers the balance we need. Its that simple.

Allegri always storms out as a crykid.
You are really poor at reading bodylanguage, arent you ?

I do understand, its illegal to do so in sweden

If you noticed, this game ended 2-2. We have to score in Wembley to advance. We need penetration and goals, not defensive stability.

Matuidi will be fit for the return leg and offers more than enough defensive work on that left side. We have to play a 3 man midfield. Our 2 man midfield was completely overrun at home.

We will play 433 in the return leg. Our three forwards are going to be Higuain, Costa and Dybala because they are the three best forwards we have.

We conceded two goals at home. Let's lower defensive stability when playing at their turf
Matuidi will increase our defensive stability, not lower it.

Khedira - Pjanic - Matuidi
Dybala - Higuain - Costa

is more stable defensively than what we played last Tuesday.

Honestly, it tells us something about the state of the club when we pick our wingers in a 433 based on how much work they do defensively. Mandzukic offered absolutely nothing going forward against Tottenham. He created no key passes, no chances, no dribbles, no assists, no anything. If any of our other forwards had an identical performance to that one, they would be torn to shreds on this forum (and rightfully so). Mandzukic has this kind of performance and there are still people arguing that he must always start.

I don't understand this obsession with starting Mandzukic. He's been quite shit lately, and needs to hit the bench. No offensive output, and his defensive contribution has been suspect over the last few games.

I think he should leave if he is going to keep “underrating” Juve (top 10 in Europe) and we fans should be happy about it, If he does not have the strength and be up to the responsibility that Juve should be a top 4 Club in Europe and be the CL every year to win it and he should stop saying such stupid things cause of a lost penalties we are not top, then just leave.

Although I would prefer a top coach which i doubt there is any available at the moment , I’d rather we try our luck with other coaches regardless than keep a coach who has nothing more to offer and we keep hearing the same shit excuses from a so called “7.5 million/year” “top coach” named Allegri.

Yes by selling key players every year we want to achieve the ambition of becoming top 4 club

So, How often has he made that specific excuse you are referring to?

The quotation marks are unnecessary btw.

So are we going to be the team that want their coach fired after winning for 3 straight seasons? Good god guys chill the $#@! out. If we took our chances that game we would have won 4-1 at worst
But Harry Kane also had an easy chance which he headed straight at Buffon.

When you look at the whole game, we had 33% possession and 5 shots on target.

Winning Serie A for the gazillionth time will not make me change my mind on Allegri

He has taken us as far as he can take us in my opinion

Playing the passive and overly defensive football he does will not bridge that gap to the better teams

He is stubborn as well now which makes it worse, Mandzukic starting as a winger for a club that wants to win a CL is not acceptable, it's not like he doesn't have other options on the wing.

Mandzukic offers no counter attack, poor crossing and a generally low end product that is not suited to wing play

It's like having 2 left backs on the pitch when he plays, I wouldn't mind him being used there for rotation, injuries and to come on as a sub to help see out a game but to start Mandzukic as a winger in any big game over othe rwingers we have in the team is wrong and will not lead us to victory against the better teams
