It would be that way if he switched those formations game in game out, but thats not the case and he usually deployed 352 and 352 only. We indeed used those formations u mentioned, but wree the result of forced changes or certain very specific desperate situations, like the milan game when we put all our attackers on the field.
Anyways, using 5 or 6 formations doesnt make a coach better than other. What matter is to make ur team properly play to its strenght with the formations. Im ok with us using 2, even 1 formation,,as long as it gets the best of our players.
Not true at all. We played 4-3-3 from the start of multiple games last year. We hardly used 3-5-2 in the CL.
Demolished ManCity with 4-3-3. Bayern was 4-4-2 first game, 4-5-1 second game.
Did you ever think that Allegri has probably had the team practicing and learning the 4-2-3-1 in practice for some time now, but it takes time to have the players learn it, the roles he has for them in it, and getting it ready to use in a game? Hence the reason we put it into effect in January, to have it game-ready for CL knockouts. He brought out the new formation for a run of easier games, so the players could Get used to it in game in less of a high pressure situation.
We got the results we needed in the first half of the season, and Allegri has now brought forth a formation that will improve performances without sacrificing results. While I certainly wish he had got this formation going as soon as the group stage ended, we got the results we needed so bitching as much as you do, and saying he was "forced" into it is just stupid.
