Conte took over a 9th place team. Why it would be suicide for him to take over a top 4 club ?
Just imagine Allegri has more control at the club and has a significant say in transfers and is given a big budget.

Here at Juve, :beppe: is the boss. This is why we'll go after someone like Sousa than anyone high profile if Allegri leaves.

I think he did sign a contract extension and I remember everyone rejoicing at it. We also adjusted his wage to €5M a year.

@dolph , actually I think you're right. He signed an extension in 2012. But either ways we dint see that resignation coming imo.
 :howler: At Arsenal?! Really?! The team that is run like a business, and is more than happy to just finish in the top 4 positions every season and ensure qualification to the CL.

Arsenal has been a top 4 team for 13 years straight and is generally regarded as a bit of a joke. However they do have all the money in the world and a quite talented squad. I dont see how it could be a big risk for Allegri. If he fails they are going to fight for 4Place like they always do. If they actually win something, he is going to be the man that transformed that sorry excuse of a club to a winning team.

The comment about Marotta being the boss and that it be a problem when changing coach is spot on. In my opinion that was why Conte left. I think we have to adress how the roles in the club is defined regarding the transfermarket. High profile coaches is not going to accept there best players being sold, and that we are more interested in bargings instead of adressing the position the coach wants filled.

It is true, Wenger was the one interviewing their new south african sport director&GM couple years ago. Thats how much controll he has, he litterally interviews people that supposed to be his new boss :howler:
So how do you explain the mediocre squad they have vs the money they earn? Arsenal is fucking rich, they should be able to afford a better squad without damaging the club's finances.
Another thing to note is that even if Wenger has as much power as you guys say, it doesn't mean Allegri would be given that too.

For now I hope Max stays. The 4231 experiment is something I simply fell in love with and I have to admit I didn't expect Allegri to step out of his comfort zone to try something like this. Once again he surprised me big time in a very positive way.

Wenger is completely deluded and stale and has his stubborn principles to excuse away complete lack of success for a dozen years. Has zero tactical clue anymore and seems to keep getting away with it every time.

Couple that with an owner and board that have no ambition and just want to remain in profit and keep ticking on content with consistent high revenue streams, they basically the 3rd highest stadium match day income in the sport while needing to do fuck all in terms of going all the way ambition wise (so the fans accountable too for giving them their money so much despite them doing nothing with it), success to them seems to stop at being stable and consistent at top 4/last 16 in CL, which is bizzare...

It wouldnt be hard at all to make this club and team successful again, you just have to be ambitious and build for it, they arent even trying for longest time, has this apathetic acceptance to being middle of the road almost there losers. They litterally have tons of money and strong infrastructure to rebuild on, but its not just about getting new coach even if alot of the issue is Wenger, but the board needs to change direction too. Aka someone else but Kroenke needs to start caring about making the club successful instead of just profitable. No check and balance or accountability for sporting failures. Which after 12 years is WELL OVERDO (no one really cares about FA cup...).

Why ? Premier League is an attractive proposition for high profile coaches no matter how much you people disagree. And there won't be an issue with money either.
He'd be regarded as a God if he wins the prem title.

Juve creating premier league winning coaches since 2016. First Conte, now EuroMax. :touched:

Sorry you got me confused. Are we still talking about Arsenal?

I think there squad is as good or at least close to Chelsea and Shitties. Sanchez, Ozil, Giroud, Bellerin, Koschelney, Ramses are all quality players. What they need is a new manager and two or three quality signings.

Only Ozil and Sanchez are good imo. Well Cech too but not sure how much he regressed with age. The rest are crap
