Mister will once again prove all the doubters wrong come the end of the season. I do understand some of the criticism however but it's early doors still and results-wise we are doing really well.

I'm sure we have gears left when we get to the decisive games.

The thing is that we are too predictable, i know every of our players' move and pass before it happens so imagine how predictable we must be to a professional team like Lyon. No creativity, just forcing passes up front and unsuccessful one-twos. Seria A is giving us a false sense of security because at the moment i can play for Juve in Seria A and it will be enough cause its a shit league with shit teams. As long as we use Seria A as a meqsuring point of how good we are, we will suffer in Europe.
Not true and completely exaggerated.

But there's some truth to Cronios' post. We looked absolutely horrible at the end of both halfs, but we didn't allow Lyon much before that (even though we looked clueless). If only we scored on the huge chances, we probably would've won.

Same deal in our home match against Sevilla, which funnily enough was probably one of our best performances this season, seeing as they had not a single chance and we only drew because of poor finishing.

Today was a pretty abhorrent performance mostly due to the last 10-15 minutes of each half. Our team looks exhausted. Hopefully the easier Serie A fixtures remaining in the first half help with that.

It's quite pathetic that so many seem to think there is no chance we will improve as the season progresses. Allegri has had poor starts every single year, and always improved the team massively by the time knockout stage arrives.

It's not a bad result. It means we're still in a good position both to qualify from the group and to finish first."

"A win would have secured qualification for us but a point here is still a good result. We didn't play so well today but we have another two games to go."

Sevilla are weird. Today, it seems like they weren't dominating much before Zagreb's red card. When we played them, they only wanted to play a dirty game. From that point of view, we really have become a big team. Atletico also parked the bus against us. Not so long ago these teams would play a more attacking game against. We really have to sort that out. We still look too mediocre, when we have to creative.

Yep. When we don't get to play on the counter we look very lost under Allegri. It's problematic against any but the biggest teams. Our CL run to the final was all about getting good opponents to play on the counter against.Dortmund and Madrid were perfect for that. When we played Monaco we looked clueless that year too.

Last year, Man City allowed us to play on the counter and we beat them quite easily twice. We played a fantastic middle 90 minutes of the two legs against Bayern by soaking up pressure and countering.

But against Gladbach when they sat back we were a mess.

You can tell the board wanted to shift to a team that could take the initiative and create with moves for players like Pjanic, Alves, Cuadrado, Higuain, but Allegri has had a lot of trouble figuring out how to set up the team to get the most out of this shift. I have faith he will figure it out, but it is taking some time, and the injuries and fatigue are a little worrisome again

I think the problem is that all of the players you just mentioned, needs a well functioning team to thrive. In that regard, Jack is (imo) absolutely right (even though I think he's overrating Pogba way too much - he needs such a team too).

But that's just the point. If our team starts to function well, and Allegri sorts things out tactically, our ceiling is higher than any of the previous years.

And Pogba needed a functioning team as well. Jack just wants to bitch endlessly. Look at Pogba in the first 2 months last year, and now for ManU in these first 2.5 months this year. A complete disaster. People were saying we should have sold him last summer and not given him the 10. He was that bad.

I just don't get the whiny, pathetic moaning about how we are doomed and for some reason cannot improve. People talk about Allegri and Juventus having a pussy mentality, but it's quite ironic when they are basically giving up on our season already and saying we are doomed.
