the only person who really matters in greenwoods situation is the woman he allegedly abused. And the only fact we know is that she is still with him and went on to have a child with him. I’m ok with not playing god/moral superior.
That’s a really simplistic take. Abused women stay with their abusers for a myriad of reasons. Doesn’t make the abuser any less of a shit stain.
Regardless of his guilt, it’s terrible optics for a club that is always in the news for the wrong reasons. It’s worth a risk when the player is a Ronaldo, but this guy is not that.

you’re also assuming guilt. I don’t know either way. No one does, except those two. Too serious of a crime to be going around labeling him a rapist. That’s not something you really come back from as a human. So I just let it be.

All I know is the press here in England basically published stuff that made it seem true. But only they will know and if this story of him joining is true we should either support him as a member of our team or keep quiet and just allow the guy to do his thing. Maybe he did do it and maybe he's grown up and changed who knows but it's definitely not our place to judge. I'm not convinced it's true to be honest though so all this could be pointless :haha:

Everyone makes mistakes, and sometimes a second chance is all we need to make things right so I am sure Greenwood will grab it with both hands.
This is a fair take and it goes both ways

All the charges were dropped, but there are definitely red flags about his character. If a fan doesn't want him on their team, that's a more than fair take.

But as long as someone is willing to employ him, I'm fine with that too. He has the right to earn a living. He's had to deal with somewhat of a punishment and hopefully he's changed because of it.

With all of that being said, I hope Juve dont sign him.

FFS, Theres no "asuming" guilty!! watch the freaking pictures!!! hear the audio!!

The fact that she forgave him, doesnt mean he didnt do it...

He can be the next Pele I dont want him staining the colors and reputation of the club... we already have Elkann to do that

This thread also seems to distinctly lack mentioning that Greenwood, the alleged replacement, on top of being a piece of shit, at his best had a season equal to Chiesa, the alleged predecessor, at his "worst."

Not to mention that Soule also had a better season than the piece of shit

These footballers live in a bubble, especially the prodigious talents like Greenwood. They feel untouchable from an early age, make more money than all their peers and have people kissing their asses 24/7. It's easy to get caught up in it. So yeah, he might have made a mistake or five, and he gets a chance to redeem himself. By then it might be too late for his reputation though, and once someone goes full Ike Turner they don't suddenly lose that, and the partner usually finds that out the hard way.

This Pezevenki fuckstick is going to cost at least 30 million Cronios Dollars - that's a lot of money for a rapiste. To my knowledge, rapists usually end up in jail, not making six figure salaries :boh:  :b81:

Can we just go for Sancho instead? He's the better player anyway, and probably won't cost that much more (BVB can't seem to be able to afford him).

I ask you this - is this the face of a man you can trust? Reminds me of those little Faggots at the Souks and Bazaars in Hurghada.
