Aha, so I just read the announcement. The name of the winning bidder is "Martin Alexander Nathell."

Not sure about his credentials, however I doubt Nick is a Slipknot fan.

Perhaps Nick made it all up, however I doubt that is the case. But he might have because it's the only way he could actually buy the site himself, under a totally made up name and bio.

I really doubt it though.

Like I mentioned before..I toyed with the idea of buying the site..initially I asked around for some help (friends in Italy) but they gave me the "ahh its a sh*t load of work" reply. A few other friends recently took a few peeks in here and told me "it would be a walk in the park." At that point I needed a day to think it over and come up with a bid ... by then it was closed. Since I usually over-analyzed things I would have probably bid a few grand...sorry Marty...looks like you will have to settle for a trip to Trieste rather than the Cayman Islands

At one point when I considered purchasing it I came up with a basic plan for the site. Maybe "Martin Nathell" would like to hear it
