Probably man of the match for me.
Hasn't had any really stern defensive tests, yet, but he does seem calmer and less rash than before, even if his positioning is still suspect.
Main gripe I would have about him just now is that when he goes forward he is too inclined to get into central positions when the team needs him on the flank providing width.

Agreed on the latter part, but still he is defenitely better and more controlled in possession (as a fullback), I was reassured whenever he had the ball (and that was the last thing I was in his first tenure with us).
Plus his end product isnt too bad, making some decent crosses, some of the fault being our players not running into proper areas then him missing them (couple times he crossed just infront of Inters defence, empty space, but all our players in the box running to first post or such).

He probably should have had two assists. I actually thought his technique was alright before, but it seems to have improved quite a lot since then, and he's looking up before making the pass as well. Defensively there was one moment when Forlán left him (might have been a corner, I can't remember) but was fine apart from that. The CB performances raise confidence in his defensive abilities for sure.

A player as athletic as he is is very difficult to beat one-on-one if they stay on their feet and don't completely sell themself.

I'm still not amazed with him defensively. He got skinned by Obi once pretty badly. He does seem to want to jump into some tackles still. TBH, I like him alot more in an uptempo match where there is more reactions to be made. Athleticism will be more important. In a slower, tactical game he worries me a bit.
But overall I love him right now. Definitely improved from his first stint here.

No really, he was truly stupid and playing without footballing brain, very nervous and making rash headless chicken decisions. Besides growing as a player (more composed and controlled, better technique), cant be ignored the differences of the Juve he played in 2 years ago and the Juve of now. As I said before we got him, this current Juve's characteristic qualities fits him like a glove.
I don't think he was being intelligent last time (I wanted him to stay because I thought he had room for development), but "exceptionally stupid" resembles something I'd find in the Marco Motta thread. It's why I said he was good and bad, I though that game against Inter in the Olimpico was very good, but he then screwed up by giving Bayern a penalty soon after. I agree that he's calmed down.
