Do you want us to loose more points than we already did?

I am with investing in this time but we should have done it earlier in the season.
If we did lose more points I'm not sure how many would be lost at the hands of Caceras.

He had a much better game. He even got a pat on the head from Buffon:)

:howler: we have 29 fuckin' rounds to go, Inter are not running away with it in friggin' October
Well, I do see Inter running away with it in October. Feel free to laugh at that, but that's how I see it.
I gotta second JCK on this. Yes we need to give Caceres more time to develop and I hope we can. However, JCK is right. Inter are on cruise control AGAIN for 3 straight years. We are only 4 points behind them however the longevity it takes for us to score a goal and create changes is concerning to me. While our second string team though on paper should still be able to handle Siena we struggled to score 1 goal while Inter's second strong crush Genoa 5-0. There is a huge difference there and until this team starts clicking and creating and MOST IMPORTANTLY taking our chances we are going to continue to be a frustrating team to watch.

we always wer a frustrating team to watch Hustni, it ain't a new thing...getting 2 Ws after a barren run, we should be a lot more appreciative of the fact that we got the 3 points today...I was equally PO'ed with todays game, but when I saw the players huddle together after the result, it all went away, 'cos it meant a lot to them

At the same time, we have to use Martin every game. As much as I like Zebina he gets inured a lot and we cannot keep on waiting for him. As for Grygera :mute:

Exactly. I meant time in the sense that we can't afford rookie errors. We need consistency and with time I think Caceres can bring that...however, we can't afford slip ups when we are only scoring 1 goal a game. That is what I meant. I think Caceres is better than Grygera in all departments...and when Zebina is out injuries that only leaves us with Caceres so in my mind it only makes sense to play him EVERY TIME over grygera when fit.

He's not bad at all. He could be quite good if he had the playing time to adapt to our system and the italian game. He's been constantly fielded out of his best position too so I'd have to say he's one of our better defenders.
