Thats sounds good, that we arent going for a loan, but buying him, even if its plus a player. That figure prolly means we value him around 12-14m? (Poulsen should be worth 7-9m if selling to a non EPL club).

And oh, how bizzare for Poulsen, options being rumoured being Barca.....or Fulham.

no, the jinx thing.
Aha well, maybe your good trend with Brazilians rubs on to Uruguay.

Caceres close to Juve if they sell Poulsen to Fulham.
were offering barca poulsen n 5 million...but im worried poulsen's wage demands after what we gave him will be a stumbling block

how much does cacerres get paid at barca??

i doubt poulsen would go to fulham..udinese are a better club in my books

Barca bought him originally for 15 million Euro I think so this would seem about right.
I would be happier if we offered 2 or 3 million with Poulsen..

He is a good player from what I have seen of him but I have not seen much given his lack of playing time last year. I think just 2 games I saw with him.

How great would it be if Caceres actually outperforms Canna and becomes the starter next to Chiellini this year?

If it would happen, that could mean we have found a long-term partner for Giorgio, which would be fantastic. This player does have that sort of potential, IMO.
Lay off the youtube videos Andy, can't you gather your own opinion? :snoop:

Poulsen plus 5 sounds damn good to me.

Well Uruguay is Brazil's neighbor:shifty:

If you look at a map, Brazil dwarfs Uruguay. Kinda makes you wonder how a country so small can produce good players and that it's no wonder that Brazil produces players like an assembly line at a child labor toy factory out of Southeast Asia.

Caceres doesn't start for Barca so them valuing him at 15m is a bit excessive. We should od a straight swap, i dont think we should give them any cash at all if we are offering poulsen

Poulsen + 5 mil thats 13-14 mil for a player that couldn't cut it in barca's first 11 even with all the injuries that they had in their back :sergio:

And people are praising Secco and think he's the market guru or something
And Poulsen played well last year? We bought him for almost 10 mil, now he's worth maybe 7-8 mil. Caceres was bought for 15 mil and he was the same "Flop" like Poulsen. So therefore Poulsen + 5 mil is a good deal for us imo.

No sir its not, a player that can't break into barca's starting 11 even though they had many injuries in their defence and guardiola prefers to play a DM (toure) as a CB instead shows how much they rate him there.

Not saying he won't be a good player he might turn out to be great with us (no one knows) but atleast we should pay a fair price for him instead of overspending that way. Poulsen is needed more in barca, they don't have a strong DM to replace Toure in case he was injured.

poulsen - caceres direct swap is fine but giving them poulsen + 5 mil is just dump. Let's see our Guru secco what he's gonna do now......

Yeah and here even Ekdal was preferred to Poulsen at some times. We don't need Poulsen and they don't need Caceres. We can try to swap them without money, but I think Barcelona won't accept it. I also feel that in the end Poulsen won't be playing for Barca next season. Maybe Fulham or another club, but not Barca.. Hopefully I'm wrong;)

It looks a potential risk to me if there are justifiable doubts about the quality of the Uraguayan.

However, something tells me that the lack of opportunity at Barça - mentioned on here by a few in the last 7 days - may have been critical in affecting his confidence.
