After returning to Turin from their long and triumphant Super Cup trip, the youngsters immediately set off for the Azzurri Under-21 camp ahead of tomorrow's friendly fixture against their Dutch counterparts.
Ex-Bianconeri hero Ciro Ferrara has taken up the manager's position at Sampdoria and Devis Mangia has been brought in to replace him. Besides Marrone and Masi, the new Italy U-21 coach has also called up Fausto Rossi, who has been training in Vinovo recently.
Netherlands U-21 v Italy U-21 kicks off at 17:30 CET tomorrow, Wednesday 15 August, in Leeuwarden. The Dutch are expected to offer the 'Azzurrini' a firm test of their credentials ahead of the decisive Euro 2013 U21 qualifiers against Liechtenstein and Republic of Ireland, to be played on 6 and 10 September in Casarano.
