Disaster has struck Marko Pjaca yet again, as the Juventus-owned winger on loan to Fiorentina ruptured his left ACL in training.
The 23-year-old has been extremely unlucky in his career with a series of serious injury setbacks.
This afternoon, the Viola released a statement confirming he had sprained his left knee during a training session.
Tests showed the anterior cruciate ligament had been severed.
Pjaca will have a specialist consultation over the next few days, but surgery is inevitable and that means around four to six months out of action.
He managed only 19 Serie A appearances this season, contributing one goal and one assist, but was largely left on the Fiorentina bench.
