The most sensible interpretation of that quote is that the loan could be extended if Allegri remains unconvinced that he merits a spot the in squad next season, due to lack of game-time or unconvincing performances. The idea that Juve is doing a straight-swap of a promising young player with Howedes, who will cost about half what Pjaca cost, simply because he had a bad injury, regardless of how he bounces back is ridiculous.

That’s what some people said of the Benatia for Coman swap.

I don't see him coming back as well especially with the amount of options we have here
We don’t exactly have that many options on the left wing

Mandzukic is almost 32
Cuadrado plays solely on the right
Dybala plays either central or on the right
Costa is equally adaptable on the left or right
Berna plays as a 10 or on the right

The physical and technical qualities are clearly there. He is strong as a horse, very fast, and has good ball control. He only lacks that end product that develops with gametime.

I think he is considered a straight up Mandzu replacement IF he does good at schalke. If not, we migh not see him back and bring Orsolini in the summer already, even though he is not first team player in Atalanta.

Ofc im not saying all 3 of them are similar in style or physique, just that they all play on wing most of the time.

Has potential to be better than any of our wingers
