I don't know. Modric was an obvious jewel, but it's hard to predict how will the stars from the Croatian league develop. I never saw Mandzukic succeeding, while Kranjcar and Kovacic seemed great. Pjaca is very talented and seems intelligent, but I ain't no expert to predict if he's the real deal.

Considering his obvious talent, this could be a steal for milan. 25 is hefty but I've seen a lot worse gone for much more. It's a brave move from milan, a signal of intent.

Milan will make a lot of "good signings" this summer, simply because they are starting from a point of absolute mediocrity and apparently have lots of money to spend and spots to fill in their team. We have almost none of those things, aside from our budget.

I'm not sure, though, that Pjaca can reach Modric's heights.
