It's always positive to play the ball back to a team mate over missing it. That's not what we are discussing. We are discussing the significance of that situation, compared to what happens after, if you are not following the discussion.
Mr zizinho would assign some sort of assist or half a goal to Mandzukic it seems, for creating a black hole splitting them apart.
Reality is though that they are 2-3 guys ready to handle and cover Matuidi. It's very poor defending is what it is. And good 1-2 play of us.

What bothers me the most is that two games in a row Allegri keeps Mandzukic for 90 minutes on the pitch eventhough Mandzo did not have any effect on the game. You always sub out a player that is having a bad day. Mandzo also should have been subbed in the 65th minute mark in the Atletico game. Thats on Allegri.
