His criticism towards him for his finishing vs Inda was definitely deserved. However moving to this 433 has seemed to have done him very well and regardless of whether he is finishing his chances he has been doing great to get into position for those chances. Hopefully will hit at least 15 this season.
433 has nothing to do with it, Mario just had a bad day against Inter. The whole point of Mandzukic on the left (except his insane work rate) is creating a mismatch against opposite RB. Mario is a problem for any pair of CBs, but there are maybe only a couple of good RBs (Meunier comes to mind, maybe someone else) who can do at least something in the box against him.

He will certainly shoot 15+ goals.

Mandzukic to miss Juve games? | Football Italia

Mario Mandzukic could miss Juventus’ Coppa Italia last-16 tie against Genoa on Wednesday after needing 13 stitches to a calf wound.

A training report on Juve’s oficial website confirmed Mandzukic missed training on Monday and required treatment to his calf, having been replaced towards the end of the Bianconeri’s 3-0 win at Bologna over the weekend.

His condition will now be assessed to determine whether he can face Genoa and also Roma on Saturday.

Stephan Lichtsteiner, meanwhile, resumed training with the squad, while Gianluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellini and Juan Cuadrado worked out separately.

Havent posted on the forums in quite some time, but i just had to come in here and praise Mandzukic's performance tonight. It has been a while since someone in Juve had such a dominating performance. Every attack went through him. I lost count of how many balls did he manage to play down from our goal kicks. MOM for me. Great player.

I swear to god he won every single ball sent his way. Our tactic is hilarious. We use him as a target man from our own 3rd or the keeper and it works 90% of the time minimum.
