That doesn't even make sense businesswise. At 31 in his current role he can go for another three years at least (he's a winger now, yes, but hardly one who relies solely on speed). That means we can carefully look for a substitute, maybe already sign one and have him take over Mandzu's role gradually.
If on the other hand we decide to sell him, we will get almost nothing in return. No one is going to spend big money on a 31 year old striker with over a decade of professional football under his belt.
big respect for Mario, for showing such dedication, at this age, many players join a big time, inly for the last cash in and then go to arabian, or chinese for retiring in a minor league and earn an extra $ too. But Mario still give his all and he ought to be rewarded with an extension, as we did, because the other players will see that when you serve, you get what you deserve!
