Definitely.

A profit for a player of his age would be welcomed. As long as he is replaced properly
Sell Barzagli, Chiellini, Buffon, Ronaldo and other peasants. Cause a profit for a player of their age is welcommed.

O wait, they have important roles in their teams and cant be replaced.

No shit. what a bout the profit tho .

@Hydde what about the profit ? THE PROFIT !!

If we have a chance to upgrade Mandžukič with Sanchez for a few extra bucks, I say do it. If we don't need the money and we can get Sanchez regardless of selling or keeping Mandžukič, of course keep him

Chiellini and Buffon are club legends, it's different. if someone comes in with a 40m offer for Barzagli and the player wants it I seriously wouldn't mind, his time here is almost up anyway, he might have another season in his tank and might not have

Nah. Get in context.

You are comparing club legends .... With mandzu.

Come on. Get off your fanboyism. With a top winger we would be so much better.

Yes i know, now you will tell me that without mandzu we would be last in the table, serie b material. I dont agree.

Bye

In regular cases I agree, but players with the quality of Sanchez don't move around that often, if he's available and would want to join us we should consider all our options before saying we can't afford it
If we cant dish out 20mil extra for a player of Sanchez quality, then cant afford him.

and if selling Mandžukič means we can afford him, do it, that's the whole point. Alexis definitely is an upgrade over aging Mandžukič, as good as he is
We cant afford him if we need to sell a player who's contributing far more then that 20 mil, for just 20 mil.

Why dont we sell buffon for 5 mil ? We got Neto, right ?

We should sell Mandzukic for every bid over 30m. It's an insane amount of money for a 31 year old striker who is playing out of position (I know he is doing excellent). If I need to choose between 30m and Mandzukic 3 more years and 3-5m than I will obviously choose the 30m.

With that amount of money you have AT LEAST 75% of Sanchez/Bernardeschi money and these players are way more fitted on the left side and Bernardeschi is younger. Under the between 20-30 I think we should only consider if we already have a better replacement. Under the 20m is offcourse a no go for me, because he brings a lot both defensively and offensively to this team.

in 2-3 years time Mandžukič will probably be contributing nothing and we will sell him for nothing. with that said, Im not sure either we should sell for 20m. For 35 though I would

Our attacking depth is really scarce as is. Selling any of our attacking players would be moronic if we are looking to go forward with this new formation.

Selling Mandzukic would mean we would have to buy an extra player on top of Sanchez/Bernardeschi and that player would need to be able to play as a striker and as a winger. Those players don't come cheap so I'm pretty sure there would be close to zero euros left for the Sanchez/Bernardeschi financing, so much for the 75%.

Thankfully it's really unlikely that we would even consider selling Mandzukic this coming summer.

Let me put it this way

Currently, we are too thin on offensive options behind the 4 starters.

Replacing Mandzukic, who can play all year, with sanchez, who'll decline as he'll get exhausted mentally and the gain is small
If we cant afford Sanchez without a meager 20sale, we cant afford Sanchez.
If we cant afford Sanchez, we should get a different player we can buy without selling Mandzukic.

Like this, we'll greatly increase out depth. Which basically has been our prime strategy all the way and got us here.

Buy the star if you can afford him, or go depth
When you are forced to sell big, replace by big.

This isnt FIFA where you sell everyone except 14 players to get Ronaldo.
