Awesome, we're all supporting Mario now :weee:

Can we cut the shit about him leaving now, please? He's benched Morata all season for a reason. Although I do also get frustrated when he goes in his wee huffs and bouts of walking around the pitch watching the game go by, and I'm mystified by how slow he is to get back into the swing after an injury layoff he's our first choice forward when fit and I can think of few players who would fit us as well.

Still think we need an upgrade or for Morata to step in and perform like he's capable of. Mandzukic is not suited for european football especially since we play without wingers...
Actually that's the complete opposite point of the current discussion which was started by a quote from Allegri pointing out how good Mario is in terms of technique with the ball at his feet.

just occurred to me, has he ever talked about the difference between us and simeone's atletico? I mean in training and tactics...? I'm curious about the perspective from a player like him.

I'd be surprised if no journalist has ever asked him.

I know Mario must sense that we have a real chance to win the Champions League. He seems attracted to literal loser teams and he must feel like actually winning it one day. Stay with us Mario, you know it's coming.

This is from the Coratian newspaper - ' Sportske Novosti' its a new interview from him.

He is saying - I am 100% staying in Juve. I'm waiting for the euros extra motivated and I'm feeling fantastic and strong. I have exceptional rapport with Allegri. I appreciate Simeone because he is a warrior'

I don't think his future is in doubt in his mind anyway. He is happy to stay, but if Morata gets sold there could be a knock on effect depending on who we buy. For eg. If we buy someone like a Cavani, then I'm not sure Mandzukic would be happy to stay and essentially play the Zaza role, because when fit, Dybala-Cavani will be the attack of choice, and unlike with Morata, Cavani-Mandzu doesn't work unless we have a Pjanic or Isco playing behind them.

Mandy is already a CL winner...

It does. Cavani can play the SS or WF role even though that's not his best role. Just like Morata.

Found more of the interview:

Q: You seem very calm, clearly you've celebrated the scudetto well. What are your first impressions after winning the scudetto?
A: It's great feeling! No, we haven't celebrated properly, the season is not over yet. We need to be serious & professional. Last round we play on Saturday 14 of May instead of on Sunday & we will have the chance to celebrate properly in Turin vs Sampdoria. The club is organizing something and I think it will be superb.

Q:Juventus regarding its organization as a club is world class isn't it?
A: Definitely! I knew it was a big club, with fantastic tradition, but again unless you get to taste all of it from within the club you cant comprehend how perfectly the club is organized. I'm really impressed how well the club is organized, and I've been a member of other big clubs.

Q:This weekend you will relax, in Verona you wont start due to being suspended?!
A:This is only my 5th card this season and first card suspension. Thus I'm not boor as some like to say, ha-ha.

Q:This refreshment will come in good in order for you to get fit until the Coppa Final?!
A:It will, but I'm a bit worried that the final will be in the same day as my birthday, and I'm sure those who "care" will immediately say there you have it he is old and over" ha-ha

Q:You have laughed during this interview more than you had in a year. Its a fact that you play better when you are in a good mood?
A:Yes Im in a very good mood, I feel extraordinary! I had bad luck in the past year regarding my health and now I feel great, thats why I'm so happy.

That confirms it. Our management > Bayern's. Aka we've the best mgmt out of all the top clubs in Europe.

I love this guy so much. He's not all shiny and new and exciting in the same way a Dybala or Pogba is...

...but he's so fierce and gritty and wonderful. Absolutely love his attitude, his playing style, and hope he continues killing it here for another few years.

People suggesting Allegri screwed up by having this guy as first choice for much of the season over Morata are off their rockers. Somehow, people still underrate this champion. Ridiculous. He's still a top 10 CF in football.
