He could probably score back to back hat tricks in the next 2 games and still be benched for Higuain.
Whaaaaat :sergio: This guy has been so far from scoring the last two games that this is not even a fantasy scenario - its bordeline insane. And even if he scores one hat-trick Higuain will dream about starting spot -Allegri is obsessed with Mandzu. Even when Morata was in his best form Mandzukic started more games - and he was a tragedy. And now you have the best goalscorer in Seria A who broke records and he warms the bench because supposedly Mario is in better form. No, he is not, never was and never will be.

Two games in and people are complaining about Allegri "benching" Higuain  You saw that he arrived at Vinovo about 10kg overweight and nowhere near full fitness right? You think we are just going to rush him back into the lineup because a few impatient, ADD addled fanboys want to watch their new shiny toy in action.

Two games in...two fucking games. And we have people bitching about the 3-5-2, Allegri, Mandzukic, Higuain not starting, no midfielders, Dani Alves sucking...you bunch of joyless bastards. Two games, two wins.

What two games are you talking about :sergio: I am against Mandzu as main Juve striker from the beginning and hardly anything could happen to change my mind. Higuain is not a shiny toy but proven goal scoring machine who will bench your favorite rather sooner than later.
And 3-5-2 works fine but it is Conte's system and it is based on possession but is too rigid and defensive minded. We now have better players in front since probably 2006 but we continue to use the system that does not help them too much. Allegri almost never experiments and is too rigid in his approach. We could play like Napoli and score ridiculous amount of goals and still concede far less than them but we play like Sassuolo - one goal and thaaaaaaaat is enough. Let's defend till the end of the day afterwards.

Two games against two of the better sides in the league in Viola and the fascists. And we won both. While allowing 2 shots total. Gigi made 1 save in 2 matches. Our midfield was so bad that neither Lazio or Fiorentina had a single chance outside a corner on a Alex Sandro screw up.

You would think from reactions here we started worse than last season. Dropping points at home against teams like Udinese and Frosinone.

Aaaaand this guy is now the scapegoat. I suppose it shows how good your team is when a player like Mandzukic gets picked on
I don't understand why some of you praise him so highly?
Average technique, average vision, and not exactly clinical. Yes he runs forever, but I would prefer my striker to be clinical and not run around like a maniac.

Which is why I'm glad we got Higuain

Even though we won our first two games the need to find a scapegoat is inevitable.
This forum gets more ridiculous by the year. Our expectations are so high that people are still madly upset after winning our first two Serie A games against tough opponents whilst not being anywhere near 100% in match fitness and general play.

It's like these people expect us to win every game 6-0 just because we've signed Higuain ::lol3::

I don't think he's been a """"fan"""" for more than 1 or 2 years

Becauuse Allegri praises him so highly but I guess you know more about Mandzukic than he does, right? Perhaps the board should have kept Zaza and sold Mario. Maybe you should send them your resume.

It's game 2. Many new players learning to work together for the first time. We still won...both games. So, perhaps you can see why people are so irritated with the knee jerking. We aren't even full strength yet. Jesus man, wait until Pjanic is playing with Marchisio & Khedira both healthy right next to him and both strikers will be scoring goals especially with Dybala next to them.

The funny part is we aren't even full strength yet.

BTW Mandzukic has very good vision for players around him. Sometimes he just has these shit games where he doesn't look involved. He started like this last season, turned out he was carrying an injury for a couple of months....I wonder if he's not 100% again. Wouldn't even be a surprise at this point in the season.
