Right mate.

I don't think there are too many people on this forum who think that Mario Mandzukic is some kind of Zaza-level player. I don't know how long you were lurking before you made your account to start posting but there had been calls on this forum for us to sign him season after season. When he arrived it was a dream come true for many. I had only seen him play against us with Bayern but what I saw of him in our shirt showed to me that he was the exact right player for us.

He has scored 20+ goals in all competitions 5 seasons in his career and that includes the three seasons prior to his move here. We all expected him to score 20 goals but because of injuries he wasn't able to. Also hampering him was his seeming inability to come back from injury into top form right away. He seems to need a game or so before he starts charging around the way we expect him to. Without injuries next year he'll score even more goals. I think we all know that.

Who doesn't trust him? Send them to me.
I'm quite new here, reading posts for the last year, always been too lazy to make account and post..
You know, croatians kind like a hate Mandzukic, at least they (we) started it in past 2 years, saying that he is no longer prolific goalscorer, and that he does more damage to attack and tactic, than good.
Besides injuries, he had a problem this year, he needed to adapt to new style of playing, after spending seasons in Germany and Spain, and one more thing, he may have played bad because even with Morata here, he didn't have much competition for starting 11. Allegri played him even when he didn't score form 5,6 games in a row, but he is a player who constantly seeks battle and competition, and that gives him some kind of inspiration for scoring, like Gomez in Bayern.
I read what his manager said, that he will stay here even if Higuain came. And that is something completely new for Mandzukic. He went from Bayern when Lewa came because he knew that Pep also doesn't like him, he went from Atletico when Torres came back and fans gone wild like some kind of God put signature on contract with AM, but now he wants to stay, he wants to fight for position; because he has a trainer who trusts him and likes his play.
I don't know if you know this, but when he started his proffesional career, in lower rang of croatian footbal, the club wore old Juventus jerseys with clubs crest on it, and when he arrived in Juve he said that now his football dream is fulfilled. So i don't think that anyone can push him out from Juve, not for another 3 years:lol:

Mandzo is no Higuain however he's no slouch either. Great player to have and one of my favorites in the squad. Hope he stays even when we get Higuain.

Can we make a new poll? How many goals next season in all competitions. Id say 20-25 (16-19 in Serie A, 3-4 in CL and 1 or 2 in Coppa, depending on how much he plays)
If he is a first option in FW, then i'd say 24, with 8-10 assist, if Higuain comes than slightly better season than this one.

He will definitely stay, that's what his manager said, and he turned down offer from West Ham when Slaven Bilic spoke to him.
I wonder, if Pipita comes, why don't we try playing both of them together in 4312 with Dybala behind them. Allegri played some games last season with him and Morata together and it wasn't bad..

If we are to sell Mandzukic I hope we get at least 30M for him otherwise we should try to keep him
As for Zaza 30M is the price to send his ass to whoever bid it!
Zaza isnt bad but he certainly not a 30M player!

rumours are that zaza is rejecting all englandmoves because he wants to stay in italy...leaving us with a lot of cheap buyers :sergio:

I think if Napoli doesnt agree a swapt..we will be in serious trouble.

Zaza already said that the PL was interesting to him, so don't believe this bs. They are rehashing his words that he wanted to prove himself in Italy (with Juve).

I think Zaza's first choice is to start for Roma, Milan or Napoli.

But if they can't meet our price I think he'd accept England as a starter. I think that's his main goal.

I think he would go there. West Ham is doing well these days, moved to Olympic stadium, Bilic, his former NT coach, is their manager....

West Ham are an upcoming club, but we should keep him. He offers something different to Higuain, he'll be better and fully fit for his second season, and we don't want to try to settle in too many new strikers every year. Get some partnerships settled.
