Maybe, Idk. It was when Kagawa was still there? They wouldn't start Gotze and I think he was fit cause he was always on the bench.
Wrong..When Kagawa was there ,Goetze was playing on the right, this season he is playing in a central role essentially he has replaced Kagawa in that positon.Like I said we dint see much of him last year since he was out for almost an entire season ,he recovered when Dortmund had only about 2-3 games left in the year..

So Gotze agrees his switch to Munich. Just goes to show you that there is indeed no loyalty left in football.
Player goes for more ambitious and bigger club who pays better, whats disloyal about it? He was bound to go to a bigger club for big money anyways, now its just within Germany instead of EPL or el classico teams. Also first sign that hiring Pep has it pro's so far. Götze being a dream choice of his has been obvious for a while.

It's still tough to transfer to your clubs main rival. Dortmund and their fans deserve better than that

It is in a way yeah, but Bayern pretty much allways been the bigger club, and the main natural destination for German top players to go to. Just been last couple years where Dorthmund been more competetive and made enough stake as a club to halt that automatic desire for Bayern german players used to have (used to be routine some Dortmund/bundesliga players wait out their contract just to go to Bayerns bench), Reus choosing them over Bayern was a big win for them.

But alas, they kinda settled their dominating presence a bit more firmly this season, and also consistently shown they can go to CL semi final&final. Its a little bitter to lose him to Bayern for sure, but they have these clauses on their contracts for a reason, they cant afford to have biggiest salaries around like Bayern, and set these clauses to appease their players ambition, like in this case.

P.S Dortmunds main rival are Schalke, even if they are better then them yeah.

Bayern btw are utter utter cunts due to the timing of this signing, or the announcing of it. The eve before a huge CL semi, also when Götze is likely to face them in a potential CL final.

Now the question is if Hummels and Lewan will leave them too, Lewan is prolly also going to Bayern after Gomez leaves. Lets see if Dortmund can keep Hummels and withstand Barca interest.

As far as the informtions go, Bayern aren't responsible for the leak that lead to the news of Götze leaving Dortmund. They even released a statement that they would not have told the press about the deal before the CL semifinal Dortmund-Madrid if it would have been in their hands. Even Klopp said that it would be highly unlikely that Bayern deliberately released that news to hurt BVB.
