How can any Juve fan accept this buy back clause crap,it blows my mind.
I would rather have Diamanti than Gotze with buy back clause.
Embarrassing stuff.

Morata won't be gone because Real will forever be buying top star strikers. Morata won't join them for the bench. Bench is why he left them
Götze won't be gone as long as Pep is coach.
I agree. I think the Bayern management believe in Gotze but he doesn't fit in with Pep's system so they want him to continue to grow and come back when a coach that can use Gotze is in Pep's place without having to pay Bale fees if he does explode with us.

I'd like Gotze here and would accept a 60 mill buy back in 3 years as long as we sell Vidal to them for 50-60 mill now and pay something like 30 for Gotze.

Release clause?

Bayern gave as a yes and we're free to talk to Gotze. We'll offer him 6m eur a year apparently.

No mention of transfer fees, but two options are mentioned: 1. We buy Gotze and Bayern has a buyback clause that can be activated in 2-3 years; 2. We get Gotze on 2 year loan. After that we have an obligation to buy him, but Bayern gets the right to buy him back from us (immediately, if I understood correctly).
all of this is so damn specific that i'm starting to think it has some merit to it

It doesn't go well with the fan, I know. But have in mind that capable people came up with such a solution. It's more of a necessity than anything else.

The Juve starting XI that played in the CL final was made of Buffon, Marchisio and 9 other players that we bought for a total of 65-70m euro. To create such a team for so little money doesn't happen often. We were lucky AND capable and we did create this team, but it's like a 1 in a 1000 chance to do it again by buying freebies and 10m euro players.
Now, once we arrived among the best, the struggle is to stay there. Eventually, we'll stay there permanently once our revenue hits the sky and we'll be able both to keep our stars AND buy the top players for big money. But we're far from that. We'll need to have at least 2-3 very good/great seasons, win more fans, attract sponsors etc.
But we were an old team and the big sharks would have eventually bought our stars anyway. Then what? Start from zero again? No, we'll keep looking for potential stars like Pogba or for great deals like Tevez and Vidal for circa 10m eur. But that won't be enough this time. Now we'll also need to get proven top quality. And at the moment, unfortunately, we can only do it with these buyback clauses.
So, whatever's needed in order to get that revenue and stay at the top. I'll take even the short term embarrassment.

We are fucking Udinese for big European clubs. Except it's even worse with those buyback clauses. They're toying with us.

But having to sell Vidal on a discount to do this buyback again ?

I would've imagined we'd reinvest all the money we get from his sale

I dont understand the point of complaining about buy back clause. We get one of the worlds best players for at least a couple years to take us up to another level and worst case they buy him back and give us our money back. We still got a elite player for a few seasons for no loss on transfer fee (maybe a small profit). Its better then what we did with Tevez were we lost 12 million Euro on the transfer fee to have him for 2 years .. at least this way we recover whatever we spend to have the top player come.

I am doubting this will happen but I would be thrilled if it did happen regardless of buyback clause.

If it's the 2 year loan option, we might reinvest the Vidal money this summer already.

I doubt that we sacrificed Vidal just to get Gotze on a buyback clause. Imo Vidal wanted out and we couldn't get more than 40 million. We'd have sold him for 50 if it was offered. It wasn't. Once we sold him, we're trying to get something more out of it and in this case it's Gotze.

Why do you feel the need to write such tripe????
why do you feel the need to quote him? so everyone who was smart enough to put him on the ignore list can read it as well?

We need a longer term player where we can have a project behind not just a temporary player

Buy back clause? Forget about this kid. Just get Oscar and move on.

Giving a #10 shirt for a loan player is insulting.
    Thats another reason

That makes no sense. The point is to make the team better and by doing so we can invest more. Having top players in the starting 11 is what we need to get better. Who cares if there is a buy back.. we still have a great player for however long and if he stays great ... if he goes back we recover the money from the buy back and buy another top player. We would hopefully make even more money than just the buy back based on good play and going far in the CL.
