In footballing terms, I prefer Vidal to stay, but everything into account I guess this a good enough reason to sacrifice arturo from management point of view. Theres a chance Goje could become a fan fave player quickly as well.



I still think, this was a trap and Bayern may act like they willing to sell but beppe will face obstacles to land the player.

the image of the club is very importan right now. Also Marotta needs to save face. He can't sell the best box to box midfielder in the world and then not show anything for it.
When we sold Zidane to Real we countered by getting Nedved, Buffon and Thuram. It important as hell for us to send a message out there. When Dortmund and Atletico got raided they replaced them with young, up and coming stars and that made their image take a hit. To this day nobody remembers Dortmund and Atleticos success and instead players can't wait to leave them for greener pastures. Look at Griezmann who they got just a year ago, people walk around saying he's too good for Atletico.

why the buy back though? two year loan plus mandatory obligation would just be a way to defer the payments and thats smart but not the buy back

Yep, I wish/hope we could pull out of this deal tbh if it ends up mostly in bayerns terms.
Either work with us for Gotze, or offer a decent sum so we could reach other targets.
