Ronaldo scored on the first chance by real in the first game, and had several good chances in both games, before fading out of the second, and juventus was a bit on the lucky side he wasnt as clinical as usual
Isco, was doing a whole lot of nothing special in both games.

Isco is a good dribbeler, in pure dribbeling, like Denilson was or Lucas is. Both Lucas and Denilson however, are stupid as shit when it comes to intelligence on how to dribble where and when. Isco is a fairly intelligent player, but isnt an efficient dribbeler. He often does alot unneccecary stuff, wich could be done easely and quicker.

Zidane or Del Piero were notoriously intelligent dribbelers. IF they would dribble, it would allways end up a more dangerous situation if they succeeded. Also they could pull genius moves from nowere and completely put a defence on the wrong foot.

Götze isnt as good as those two offcourse. But he does have this talent of doing genius moves wich sets a defence wrong, wich is why he is held in such very high regard by every analist.

Its like back in the day, Mourinho and i think Rijkaard said, that they would rather face off against Drogba, then Inzaghi. Drogba was alot better at just about everything. But Inzaghi, had the uncanny ability, that he could not be marked. This was because he could predict where he had to be, and move there at just the right moment for the defender to lose him, making marking useless, and a defending against him a gamble.

Simularly, a defender nowadays can predict that Isco would go on dribbles and stop him when he does with a foul or legit tackle. But when Götze is pulling this sudden genius move, you and your teammates are wrongly positionned and you can only hope you are in range to foul
A lot of players get stifiled creatively at Madrid, look at Bale for example - Isco was a much better player at Malaga where he could fully express himself

In their direct gamestyle, both James and Isco arent that limited as alot of talents tend to be at madrid.

However, i do think Isco would have been the ideal future replacement for Iniesta. Dont get why barcelona let that slide

When we look at a trequartista for juventus, we look at certain key aspects

It has to fit in with our playstyle. He has to be efficient and genius, or compensated with workrate.

Oscar is rather efficient, and has a very good workrate. Mourinho has him play very deep, under Allegri you could expect a simular scenario to tevez going from Conte to Allegri.
Gotze lacks the workrate. He's however quite dangerous, as efficient as it gets, and a rare genuis player in modern football.

Both would work. But Götze is more efficient, talented then Oscar, and has the genuis card.

If we want to believe Corsport Rummenigge said "Gotze isn't involved in the Vidal deal, there are a lot of rumours surrounding him and I don't exclude anything. But he has a long contract with us and we want to keep him"

You know what would be hilarious. Gotze coming here after Nostradamus has been taunting us about German players, then Pogba going to Arsenal for us laughing at Arsenal, and then Gotze leaving us to Inter, because he has proven to the world he's a treacherous cunt. And Juve never gets a proper #10 ever again because of how we handled Ale's departure.

If there was some kind of a karma justice - inter would have never won a treble. That's the biggest proof that we are living in a completely random Universe.

i dont get what we would gain if the buyback is removed. he would still ask to be sold to Madrid if they call him to be a starter for them, and he would still reject them if they want him as a rotation striker - same as now with the buyback. pointless IMO
