I am glad he didnt get into the Azzuri squad. For his sake, I think its better to keep focusing on regaining top form permanently without being under the spotlight the way it is playing in the Azzuri. After he regains full confidence and goals become very natural to him then he can be thrown into the Azzuri mix. Give him a few more months.

Who knows maybe if he stays in form for a long while he can play for PSG or something. He should stay away from leagues with heavy media focus for the next few years (Serie A & EPL) and should look to move to PSG, Bundesliga or Spain.
