The only saving grace of this is that we can get him back, and this gives Enzo a chance to show us whether he's all we cracked him up to be. Plus we get 2m out of this deal. Suddenly doesn't sound so bad anymore, does it?
This deal is a loss-loss situation.

If he plays good for viola then Moggi surely wants him back. But then Violas share of Maresca would be higher, and Moggi need to outbid and pay even more for what we got for from Viola. If he haves a bad season, then theres no way Juve want him back, so we sould probably sell him for less what he is worth now.

So even if he plays godly football, we still need to outbid Viola, and buy theres share of him...

So this deal is nothing but crap.

Yeah, but we need the money now. it's the same thing when you take a loan, you know you will have to return more than you took, but you need the money now.

Maresca was not needed by Lippi,
and now he is not needed by Capello.

Maybe those two has no sense to judge players abilities, or maybe there is something realy wrong with Mares.

I think the second option is more likely.

Maresca: I Chose Fiorentina

Enzo Maresca, who just completed his switch from Juventus to Fiorentina, spoke for the first time as a Viola player today during the press conference.
The now former bianconero player was not greeted as a hero by his new fans because of his Juventus past, however the Italian midfielder is looking forward for a long stay with the Viola colours, stating that it was his decision to go to Fiorentina and was not dumped by the Old Lady.

"Florence was my choice; I wasn't dumped by Juventus. I hope to repeat what Di Livio did in Florence. In the past 6 years I

Well if that's what Capello thinks then he's an idiot. :groan:

I reeeealllly don't believe that Blasi and Brighi are better than Maresca...
Blasi is a pure defensive player, he has not offensive skills... and Brighi well he is a more affensive player but not good as Maresca... we sold Maresca coz Juventus for some reason that we don't get doesn't like him

I predict that Maresca will never return to Juve......Fiorentina will probably buy the other half of him as well...:sigh:

I think Maresca will probably move to Valencia where all the 'pretenders' have gone. But among them all, he seems the best IMO. I'm thinking Valencia will try to sign him after next season, or maybe even move to the English league.

I hope Lippi sees his potential and gives him a chance in the NT

great. before going there, he said that he has his heart set for juve and now he says it was his decision to move there. where did his love for juve go? if he loved juve that much, he wouldn't go to juve's biggest and most hated enemy.

I think he had to say it was his decision, but I doubt it, Capello didn't want him that's the truth. Viola fans will continue to give him a hard time if he hasn't said that, narrow minded bastards they are :fero:

Maresca is going to Firenze to play this season, but it doesnt means we had loose him. As a matter of fact, Marescawill be co-ownes by us and Fiorentina. We can get him back next season, if we want to....
