Unless Zeman Somehow tries to persuade verratti to come to Roma. We know Roma have a owner with some cash but Verratti hopefully is smarter and realizes that Roma isnt a good club.
But there he can become the new Totti and Totti can teach him how to dive, yel at refs and spit footballers without getting punished for it!
I wonder what the influence of a man like Zeman can have in a kids mind...

We still need to secure ownership instead of risking Zeman bringing him with him. And honestly with Zeman leaving and perhaps that Napoli kid too. This team won't stand a chance next year. Maybe bring Immobile home together with Verratti. Too bad Zeman didn't stay would have been good to see Immobile and Veratti one season in serie a before we took 'em home. Anyway, secure this deal Now so it doesn't get dragged out into something dirty.

Roma could ask for Verratti
By Football Italia staff

The agent of Marco Verratti says he wouldn’t be shocked if Roma made a bid for his client given the imminent arrival of Pescara boss Zdenek Zeman.

The latter has transformed the 19-year-old into a deep-lying playmaker and the boy was a key figure in the club’s promotion to Serie A.

Having been called up to Italy’s 32-man Euro 2012 squad before his axing yesterday, he’s also attracted the transfer interest of Juventus, Inter, Napoli and Roma.

“I can't exclude the fact that Zeman could ask the boy to Roma seeing as the Giallorossi have always been interested in Verratti,” agent Donato Di Campli told TMW on Tuesday.

“It would not surprise me if they made an official offer in the very near future.”

Juventus’ €8m bid for the Italian Under-21 international was rejected by Pescara recently. They insist that they want €12m for their star teenager.

Zeman held talks with Roma on Monday and should be confirmed as the Giallorossi boss by the end of the week.

Wow. 12 mln... who a kid who yet has to prove something. he's talented and could become great but 12 mln, really? if we would secure a signing and loan him out we should get under 10 mln and that is imo still a lot.

I'd say even €8M is pushing it a little for this kid, let alone €12M. We should only increase our offer by giving them players if they don't accept our first offer, or kindly tell them to fuck off.

So if Zeman leaves, Insigne goes to Napoli, and Immobile ends up playing for Genoa... I wonder if Veratti will stay at Pescara?

I think he probably would... type of player that seems loyal, almost to a fault. Gotta love that love, yo... hope he improves, and eventually follows his  to Juventus.
