You have an appointment on Wednesday with Juve for Verratti. At what point are you?
"That Juve are interested in Marco Verratti is no secret: we have already had meetings for the same thing. In the coming days we will meet again to see if there is a chance to do this - we are in absolutely no hurry and we have no particular need to sell our jewel. I've said on many occasions that we could sell Marco Verratti, so if there is a chance to do something intelligent together then we will also see about some players they have who can do a job, for me it's fine. Otherwise we have a great relationship with Juve and that will remain so."

The will, however, is still to not sell all of the player? There is always talk of a joint ownership or if you are willing to sell all as he does not want to leave Pescara?
"It's not a problem. I repeat, we have spoken with Juve 360° about the boy, there would be no problem even if they wanted complete ownership. The important thing is that he remains in Pescara for a year because it is something that the boy wants, he wants to try to grow and improve for another year here in Pescara and it is a promise I made to him, so this is the priority. Then as regards to the transfer method, there will also be important technical details, there will be important players that we could bring to Pescara for our project."

We have said no to Giandonato because he plays in the same position as Verratti. There is also talk of Pasquato and Gabbiadini, who Juve could be sending out for a year on loan to Pescara. They are useful names?
"Yes, those names could be useful, especially Gabbiadini. Regarding Giandonato, I'm sorry because I had asked this year, I had spoken with his agent, but it is clear that if Verratti remains then he kills the need for two players. Young players who come to Pescara should be able to play, they must be able to find space. "

Napoli-Pescara talking Verratti, Insigne
By Football Italia staff

Pescara’s President Daniele Sebastiani has confirmed that he is in talks with Napoli over a number of players, including Marco Verratti and Lorenzo Insigne.

The Delfini are planning for their first season in Serie A for 20 years, but have lost Coach Zdenek Zeman to Roma and are reportedly struggling to keep hold of the core nucleus of players that won the Serie B title last term.

This includes highly-rated pair midfielder Verratti and defender Marco Capuano, who along with Napoli-owned Insigne, are now the subject of discussion for President Sebastiani and his counterpart at Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis.

“Myself and [Napoli President Aurelio] De Laurentiis have spoken over the phone,” Sebastiani confirmed to Marte Sport Live.

“We want to do certain things and we hope to achieve them. Maybe in the next few days we can meet.

“We have some players that could go to Napoli, the same goes for the other way around. We want a relationship with the Azzurri, this understanding with De Laurentiis is very interesting.

“Our goal is to keep Verratti and Capuano for another year in Pescara - it would have to be a guarantee for any team that might buy them. They could work in a place that has less pressure. The same goes for Insigne.”

Insigne impressed at Pescara last term, but is set to return to the San Paolo this summer when his loan deal expires.

“I think Lorenzo is predestined, we are talking about pure talent. I’d like to keep him for another year here, but De Laurentiis also likes him.

“For his part, I have a half-promise - if they decide he will leave Napoli, to sell him or on loan, Pescara is a preferred destination.

“For Verratti, I am talking with Napoli, with Juventus and with other teams. We will see if there can be some interesting counter-deals. I like some of the Azzurri’s players.”
