Yes, there is.

If the contract for the transfer/loan says that Juve have an obligation to buy, rather than an option to buy, they have to buy him.

If they didn't they could have been sued for breach of contract.
Official statement does not mention it. They should have declare it because of responsibilities against shareholders. Whichever point you look at, it's a fucked up deal.

Forgotten Juventus defender Marco Motta is attracting the interest of foreign clubs, his agent has suggested.

The right-back was signed outright by the Old Lady in the summer after spending the 2010-11 campaign on loan from Udinese.

Motta, though, has yet to appear for the Turin giants this term following Juve’s capture of Stephan Lichtsteiner from Lazio.

“If he leaves in January then it will only be for a foreign club,” Beppe Bozzo told calciomercato.it. “I’ve received a lot of offers from abroad for Marco.

“However, you never know what will happen. Perhaps one day he might be useful for the Bianconeri again…

“For now he remains a Juventus player, even if it is disappointing that someone like him can’t find space in this team.

Fuck these agents are a joke. I especially loved the bolded part. Yep, thats exactly what the currently high flying Juve needs, a useless, tactically retarded clown who doesnt have a clue about positioning and defending and has the mental capacity of a 5 year old.

Instead of using lawn mowers to keep our stadium's grass nice and neat, perhaps we can use Motta to graze on it for us, make himself useful.
