Juventus Need Time To Gel - Marco Storari

Juventus goalkeeper Marco Storari believes it will take time for the squad to find their feet following a summer of changes.

The Bianconeri's domestic season started on the wrong foot after they lost to Bari last Sunday.

But Storari is staying positive and believes their efforts in training will pay off.

"We need time to get used to the new schemes which have convinced in the past. Game after game we can hold our own, but for now we shouldn't be speaking about objectives," he told Juventus Channel.

"We know that the team is strong and we can achieve a satisfying run."

Out of all the players we have that play for the azzurri and this guy doesn't? He's miles better than Sirigu.

He's 33. For a goalkeeper it isn't that old. He can still be deputy to Buffon at the Euros... Amauri got playing time and he's 30 which is quite old for a striker.
My point is that he's not irreplaceable like Buffon who is a once in a generation goalkeeper, nor is he young enough to be part of a team which needs younger players in it. I guess Prandelli is looking at the goalkeeping options which he can use for 5+ years.

Why isn't he in Gli Azzuri?
Unless Prandelli is looking strictly at youth then he has a good chance to get in, playing for a high profile club, he's probably better than the young keepers but they have time on their side and it's natural that Prandelli looks to have 2 out of the 3 as younger keepers.
