A buddy of mine who's a Premier League fan said that he feels like all the overrated Italians are being sent from one big team to another which made me laugh a bit earlier today.

If Crouch was Italian I bet he would have played for Milan, Inter, Roma and Juventus by now.
:D its this dogma that serie A requires players with serie A experience. kinda sickening but wont complain if marco does well. Dont give up suns, one day aftet parma, roma, milan and genoa will giovinco finally arrive at juve, he just needs experience and plenty of milk.

    Welcome Borriello.

Rinaudo came from an Italian team we had good relationship with (management), his ass was sent back.

rinaudo might have been that but was a last minute panic loan, maybe not enough time for a proper sit down, please discuss and handshake. The good relationship was for napoli to loan him out in enough short notice.

Mitra Matri and Quag (if he's going to be here come February) will bench Borriello's sorry ass for the majority of what's left in the season. Mark my words.

I just hope he'll be sent back to Rome at the end of the season :xfinger:

I blame Marko for Marco. He should have avatared him and jinx the transfer. Hustini didn't use his powers either.
God help our team with our jinxes and gurus.

About the option/obligation to buy thing.

Marotta always, always said that all the loan deals were just options (yeah right, who was he kidding). It's like Alen says imo. They are indeed options, but with gentlemen agreements that Marotta didn't want/couldn't afford to break with these teams.

Aquilani and Traore are different, as they played outside Italy. Rinaudo I think it's the same case as the other italians, but this one got his agreement broken with Napoli's reasonable permission.

IDK if this Borriello loan will have the same terms or not. I hope not.

3 rounds (Quag and DP started against Novara). In the 6 rounds preceding he scored or assisted in each 6 (5 goals+3 assists). And those 6 matches were against Genoa, Fiorentina, Inter, Lazio, Napoli and Palermo.
Adding the excellent season he had in 2010/11, it's crazy to write him off after a normal 3-4 match drought.

I don't think it's a mere coincidence that his worst matches came when Vucinic didn't play, so lets see how will he continue with Mirko back.

I don't think so either but what makes people here so sure borriello won't return to previous form scoring with Pirlo and mirko pushing balls out?
