The good news is that -- while I've received nothing back from my e-mails to RAI Int'l :( -- all indications are that RAI Int'l will be covering Serie A matches in some form for the coming season.

Every expectation seems to indicate that La Grande Giostra dei Gol will continue in '05-'06 (it is the post popular program on RAI Int'l). The only question in my mind is whether they will show one match or two per week as last season, etc.

Here's another example of the general concensus out there, Soccer TV seems to confirm the expected death of Novantissimo Minuto while indicating that we should expect Serie A coverage on RAI Int'l to continue:

shit outta luck if you live in the USA as far as CL coverage goes (cant rely on ESPN2 for Juve games)

I ordered the UEFA.com package last year (about $40) to watch Juve games on delay

Amico mio. You mean to watch them on computer, right?
Are they delayed enough so that we can watch them at a civilized hour?
Can we access them at anytime (ie, they are available to watch whenever I want to? )

Link, please (if it's not too much trouble) :)

    EDIT: Never mind--found it. :D

Thanks so much for the info.

God bless you for your service as an officer. :)

I don't want to get sappy, amico mio--but you've changed my life. I have signed in and now can get all the Juve CL matches. I'm walking around looking like this: :D

    A couple of questions:

    1. I signed in, but they would only let me do a free trial. I presume they contact you when that time is up to see if you want to make it a go?

Nope--it's automatic, ie, you have to cancel if you don't want it

    2. All the archives I found weren't full games. The current games are, though--right?

    3. How long do you have to access the games after the match has been played?

    4. Do they do Serie A, as well?

    Grazie, amico mio

(If anyone else knows the answers, please feel free to post--in case Vinman isn't around)

    EDIT: I answered question #1 :)

Just a clarification on the price:

    it's $5.95/month...which works out to $72/year.

Does anyone know if the charge you when there is no CL going on?

I think they charge you that flat rate (includes archive access) all year round. And I believe they only carry CL games, for which they have the rights to redistribute.

A bit of a dumb question--the subscription lasts all year. Has anyone tried cancelling at the end of a season, and resubscribing at the beginning of a new one?

I paid a flat rate of $40 for last season, and I think you have to renew every season

Some of the games from 2 or more years ago are just highlights, and not full games

For me, the full games were available between 9 and 10 pm est (6-7 pm your time...right after dinner !!)

No Serie A, just CL games (we should now get some good coverage in the states for Serie A thanks to Fox soccer channel and GolTV...if you dont have GolTV, you can get it through Dish Network or DirecTV)

Thanks for the compliment pertaining to my job !!:D

    I am only assuming this...

for example, they are only showing Lazio-Messina in week 1, and I remember a few years back that when they had La Liga, they never showed Real or Barca, rather the lesser teams (contracts, or something)

Fox soccer is a pay station, right? (Even if you have Direct TV, you have to pay extra?)
