I'm just glad Gol TV will have the rights to the matches. Even though their commentary is sometimes no better than George Bush trying to talk soccer, the coverage is fantastic. Wouldn't know what to do without it.
:)

Andy, that is one of the best descriptions I've ever heard of someone describing American English soccer announcers.

At least in England they have dry, witty comments that add to their understated commentary of the matches.

LMAO

i wonder if i was the one who said that sentence to nicole, directly a pu*sy cheaser like jeeks will jump on and say that was an " insulte " :)

Berlescuni is the media man, u talking about RAI while he's a prime minster !

He knows how to play the game and he always a winner IMO.

Blocking RAI is the big hit for him so he can sell the rights of (calcio) for many countries for fcking big amount, more millions bucks in the pocket.
I never said insulte and will never do.

Found this about Serie A coverage in the UK. Im not sure what this means for eurosport showing serie a coverage

Bravo is to air matches from the Italian Serie A league under a two-year deal with Setanta Sports.

The channel will air the premium 'superclassico' games live, as well as a recorded match midweek, a one hour highlights show and a weekly magazine show. Setanta will show the remaining Serie A games on Setanta Sports 1, 2 and Setanta Ireland.

"Football Italia and Serie A are established and respected sporting brands in the UK thanks to the work of Chrysalis and Channel 4 in the 1990’s," said David Clarke, Bravo Channel Editor. "We believe it has been dormant too long and intend to reinvigorate Italian Football in the UK and showcase all the passion, skill, style and footballing culture that it brings."

The deal, which gives Bravo six hours of original programming each week, represents Flextech's biggest sports rights acquisition in its history.

If ESPN don't show Serie A this year I don't know what I'm going to do. The prospect of only being able to watch Juve in the CL is terrifying.
I can watch all juevntus's SerieA

very match about juve milan inter will live in china```````````

Unfotunately I'm so right. :D

I mean who are these people anyway? The one guy who does the commercials for Gol TV really has no chance at all to make sense going in-depth on the air, so he will always be too elementary. The two "colour" guys (hehe), one an American who just doesn't ever know what to say, the other being an Englishmen who seems to have forgotten his ritilen, are both too hard to listen to at 9am in the morning. Perhaps we, I mean you, should write them a complaint. ;)

I love that; they're always chuckling. One of my favourites is Ally McCoist :thumb:

So while there's been deafening e-mail silence coming from the e-mailboxes of RAI International, their Web site at least seems to indicate that they have every expectation of airing a new season of La Grande Giostra dei Gol starting August 28:

http://www.international.rai.it/giostra/
http://www.international.rai.it/tv/produzioni/index.shtml

But from the text, it's not clear if this info is any newer than when they shut doors the day after the Avellino-Napoli clincher.

It always has been one of RAI International's most popular programs... so I wonder how they plan to get the rights to the broadcasts and who will be their announcing crew should they find a way to continue it.

I emailed the local cable tv complaining bout them showing this totally insignificant la liga game instead of Juve vs cagliari where Juve will celebrate their scudetto, and they replied to me talking of something totally unrelated to the whole issue.

Lets face it. They're all cowards! :fero:
