First of all, I didin't know where to post this so if in the wrong part, please excuse me...

I just read in other forum (xtratime) that a televition company call Mediaset own by Berlusconi :)groan:) has bougth the rigths to broadcast Serie A this season... This means that RAI will not show any games this year...

I want to die :stress:

My only hope is that ESPN can still show games...

You're kidding. No RAI rights this year?

Dang... that would completely suck.

Any link to the xtratime forum in question, Esteban?

I could probably get the games on Gol TV (I only hope), but that would suck because one of the reasons I liked getting them on RAI was for the Italian language broadcasts and the Italian post-game shows, Italian news, etc.

This will clearly be a loss if I have to watch Serie A games in English, which is perhaps the most foul language in the world for football match announcers (though fortunately Gol TV does have a Spanish language broadcast ;) ).

I can't even tell you what kind of loss this would be if even GolTV doesn't carry them.

If ESPN don't show Serie A this year I don't know what I'm going to do. The prospect of only being able to watch Juve in the CL is terrifying.

Stuart, I'm sure like you, I do not want this to be one of the motivators behind wanting to see our CL success this year at the expense of our Scudetto campaign. :sigh:

Does that mean the end for the programme (translated to) 90'th minute on rai uno ?

Or does this only concern the right to show the games live?

Oh well I liked Rai but its not like they had the best serie A broadcasts

If espn doesnt get the rights its gonna really suck, they had like four serie A matches per week

They better show the Italian National team games.

RAI is supposed to show 3 Juve friendlies soon. RAI International better show them but I don't see anything on their site. :(
