Judging a defensive mid for goals and assists, seems like a mismatch ofc. Everyone knows what limitations the guy has but that doesn't dismiss what he actually brings to the team;
He's one of the most vocal and coaching players in the team, calm in possession, well positioned to protect the defence and he distributes reasonably well when there are actual options around him. If we can upgrade, do it. That should be doable for 40-45 mil for sure but this late in the mercato? Highly unlikely...
