Most players are inconsistent or not playing to what many believe are their full capability. Locatelli fits in this boat, and it is a large boat with many players in it. Problem we have is we don't know if these players are not good enough or whether it comes down to allegri being the issuem There is a fine like between both.

He looks different when playing for Italy. Not all the time but he seems to come out of his shell and unleashes. But not for us...why?

The thing is that even in his bad games he does things that you'd expect from a high level player. Some of his passes and feints to gain space in the midfield were brilliant.

Like you say it's the chicken and the egg. Either way we need consistency from him because this ain't it
