I was never a fan of his transfer, the time it took to get him was even worse. But worst is that he didn't do anything to win me over.
This.

what's our best lineup considering form and availability?
Rabiot, miretti, Fagioli/McKennie. Locatelli should be earning his spot and to me (and others) has added very little value to the lineup

I’d be playing youth at this point.

Hes been struggling with injury this season. He had a good last year afair. People are expecting every player here to be a world class and if he isnt, they quickly turn against him. He never looked like a world class to me, on occasion very good player but not someone who will consistently get you out of trouble when things go bad and things have been bad here for a long while. Hes not part of the problem imo.

There is a very clear distinction to being consistently good and what this guy has been. There is an even more clear distinction between being world class (which he isn't and never will be) and what this guy has been.

It's OK to fault your "better" players when they suck.

If you go through this thread hes been consistenly good last year. People called him WC at one point which was exaggeration. This year though hes struggling with injury so makes no sense to evaluate him until he fully recovers.

Not trying to pick a fight with you specifically, but, we aren't in last season anymore. He should be judged by what he is doing this season (like all the other players) which isn't all the much. Injury or not, his best asset is his passing and looking forward but he doesn't really seem to be doing all the much sparking attacks like we had hoped.

I'm not convinced injury prevents him from doing what intelligent midfielders should be doing.

Our definition of “consistently” and “good” clearly differ.
Consistent* - what does that mean? lol means you are the same more often than not.

Consistently good - you are good more often than not or vice versa with consistently bad.

This guy this season has just been meh IMO.

lol its ok, just a discussion. Well injury kinda prevents him to play so he cant really showcase his abilities this year

haha I have to specify b/c people take this shit personal on here.

Re: his injury - just showcases how retarded our board, club and coach are then by having to play our best CM consistently when he is injured :D

Lol

Mckennie has been worse than a mediocre Locatelli this year. And last year it was night and day the difference between the two.

Going by current form, both should hit the bench while Fagioli and Miretti start.

I don’t think that many turned against him. Yes, some are critical but this guy has a future here. Its a bummer to see those statistics, making it even worse with Paredes there. I’m not a statistics guy but we’d fap over those statistics for a potential signing. Hopefully he’ll do better second half of the season

But McKennie wasn't brought to lead our midfield. :)

Agree 100% with last statement...
