Can’t blame Rabiot for that goal. Nothing stopped Loca from knowing what’s around him and just playing the ball out or further up more quickly.

great game overall, no complaints other than that giveaway that led to the first goal.

I agree this is not crucial mistake by Rabiot, but he did see who is next to Loca and should know this is not good idea to pass it to him, especially when he has so many easy options. But this is maybe not even down to one player ability, but rather that they dont know each other abilities good enough to judge situations like this. Because u could pass ball like this to Fagioli probably and he is agile enough to get out of this situation, Loca is not.

Perhaps but Loca should know what’s happening around him before receiving the ball too.

That pass was Rabiot's typical laziness and lack of concentration.
Oh.

that’s like my wife blaming me for her speeding ticket because i was talking to her and she wasn’t paying attention.

That’s not a good comparison. You can’t say Locatelli had to know his surroundings but not Rabiot. If he were paying attention he’d know he not only passed to a guy who was closely surrounded by 3 players his pass was so damn slow that by the time the ball got to Loca he had little time to react.

Obviously Loca fucked up with his first touch of a rapist but he can’t be blamed alone.

Btw Where the fuck was Cuadrado? there should’ve been a passing option on that right side too yet nobody was there.

My issue is with people blaming Gatti. He was hung out to dry by loca and/or Rabiot IMO.
