Before we start calling players trash we need to move on from the Allegri trash.
I was very critical of him but our midfielder's performances goes way beyond individual quality.
This is a good point. But it’s very complicated to comprehend so be prepared for backlash from usual suspects.

He is better suited to exploit empty spaces close to the opponents goal but instead is forced to chase ghosts for 90 minutes in our half. He scored some great goals and gave superb assists during the first several months after his transfer but jihadiball dehydrated his creative fountain. Happens to everyone.

Think people have completely exaggerated his performances so far this season, which have been fine overall. But he was poor today.
Agreed. I speak with mates and even my brother, all non juve supporters and they say he has been good enough this season...yet we all expect more as we wear the juve hat.

Hes a good midfielder, not a worldclass one that would fit any system but if surrounded with better players, he can thrive. I dont expect him to carry us, hes not cut for that. Not a game changer. Fans tend to hype some players and once unrealistic expectations arent met, they turn against them.
