He is better suited to exploit empty spaces close to the opponents goal but instead is forced to chase ghosts for 90 minutes in our half. He scored some great goals and gave superb assists during the first several months after his transfer but jihadiball dehydrated his creative fountain. Happens to everyone.

not at all. guy was putting in midfield general performances for sassusolo. u don't go form that to being mls level with "higher" quality players. this is coaching and managment.

Hes a good midfielder, not a worldclass one that would fit any system but if surrounded with better players, he can thrive. I dont expect him to carry us, hes not cut for that. Not a game changer. Fans tend to hype some players and once unrealistic expectations arent met, they turn against them.
