Locatelli :Juventus, Story of a great love. My dream as a child. The wish that I expressed at the blow of each candle. Juve are there. Finally.”

A true Juventino he refused every offer just to join us unlike Verratti

So glad we finally got our man in the end. Still haven't forgotten that WTF-moment when he scored that screamer against us as a young lad back in 2016, but since then he has developed into a much stronger player, which was evident during the Euros this summer. I can't think of many midfielders who are better than him in the Serie-A, and I'm sure that many clubs abroad would also have loved to have him in their side.

Signing a true italian talent who also happens to have a juventino heart is clearly a step in the right direction for us, having had to endure too many questionable mercenaries of late, particularly in that midfield area. It's a great day for the club. And well done to Cherubini, for being able to close what seems an impressive deal both in terms of transfer fee (and the structure of that fee) and wages.

Thrilled with this...finally an important midfield signing. One that we know is proven in serie A, proven with italy in the Euros, which i still think was wrong to see him benched as much after the first two games.

OK reeal talk now....where he is going to play?

Everyone and their momma here talk about him being a number 5.... but his stats show him having prowess GOING FORWARD AND ASSISTING..... s

so keeping him as 5 would be good for him and for us?

Regista more likely because everyone else we have sucks there.

But that would be a crime, look at his numbers and how much he looks for passes into the final 3rd.

I dont want him turning into another pjanic , forced to play a position when his numbes say otherwise

Well this is the problem because club always wants a regista player and all the ones we have failed and flopped badly. Ramsey? injured 90 percent of time, Arthur? terrible unless Allegri works some magic, Bentaturd? liabilty.

Maybe Allegri trys Rabiot there but has not happened and Pirlo/ Sarri never tried playing him there either.

I really think we will change from 4-3-3 to 4-2-3-1 based on our opponents. I really think we will go for 4-2-3-1 against more lower attacking thread and Locatelli will play as Mezzala there

While against top opponents he will go deeper and retrieve the ball to start attacking, and in possesion he too can play further up when the b2b takes initiative to go up
