I agree about Locatelli being a good start, what I mostly don't like about the move is the rest of the midfield that he is supposed to play with. He is still young and a critical development age. Finding himself with top players would see his game evolve a lot more forward. He will find himself with Bentancur and Arthur now not to mention the other two gifts we have.

I would have thought that deal is much better if he was to play with Khedira and Matuidi.

This looks almost perfect on paper but we all know getting SMS would cost an arm and a leg to land him here. How long is his current contract? I guess long enough for Lotito to stay calm over SMS future.
