Bentacur was only good in Allegri's first year when he was showing some promissing signs. He fizzled out quickly afterwards and became too reckless and error prone. Im glad we sold him. Loca isnt wc and will never be but Im not afraid hes gonna give the ball away in our 5 yard area (Porto).

Yeah Bentacur had his limitations but atleast take his workrate and defensive solidity is twice more than jogging paredes.

Do you all not remember his constant terrorist-level giveaways in front of our box? The constant cards for stupid fouls? There was a point where he looked ok at best, but nothing special. In our shit midfield though, doing "ok" makes you look like the best player in the world though.

I don't know what to make of it anymore. All players look shit and confused like they have never played the game before. Is he suffering from allegris shit, as many others are? Or maybe we thought he was better than he really is.

I want to see these players under a manager who let's them play the fucking game without shackles on their feet.

Loca is a great player, but when the whole team is playing horribly and he’s being miss-used, he’s gonna look like he’s struggling. He has the most heart out of all the mids but needs to be in a good tactical set up with proper midfielders around him. Had he gone to Arsenal he would be talked about much more. Too many injuries, instability, defensive tactics, and uncertainty outside the field that affects the players performances.

Yes but he needs to step up. His individual performances have not been stellar, and in chaotic times like these we need our key players to stand up and stand out. If he can't do that then he's not a key player.

(and like you I think he should be, I'd really like to see him succeed and stay here for a decade)
