Rabiot comfortable on the ball, as is Arthur and Bentancur offers defensive power but none of them offers the package Locatelli does. None of them. The rest is bullshit.

We have creativity with Kulu, Chiesa and Dybi and I'd like another CM but we need the ability to feed them
The package is smth subjective, they offer similar characteristics that overlapse each other.
so the technical output is already available.
The biggest bullshit mentioned here is that we have creativity.
Under Max, Sarri and Pirlo, our bane was creativity.
Those players are not creative midfielders, they are wingers and supportive strikers.
our problem, esp under Max, is that we lack a central midfielder able to create and execute and attacking plan.
We can hold the ball, we can counter attack with fast wingers. but we can't go forward systematically, as a team.
all our central midfielders are primarily defensive orientated.
Locatelli is too, of course he has somewhat different characteristics, but in essence he has the same role.
The player we lack, the player we need the most, the player we have been failing to decade for a decade now, is a creative midfielder.
A veratti, an Eriksen, James, modric etc, some central mods are fierce enough to do that as well, like SMS, pogbs and Kante

Get Locatelli and sell Bentancur, problem solved
that would be fine by me, but as long as we sell Benta first.
like we demanded to sell Sce before buying Donnaruma

It's not subjective at all. We need to field 3 mediocre midfielders and waste 2 spaces to have everything Locatelli brings to the table. So bringing him in, frees up 2 midfield places to actually field what we need. We actually have attacking creativity but we need to bring them the ball much faster than we ever could with our current dickheads.

Simply adding a creative midfielder would be a waste too. We need that (or a really good box-to-box) AND Locatelli. Not one OR the other but it depends on the system. For instance our 4-2-3-1 in 2017 never lacked creativity and never even had a Chiesa-Dybala-Kulu trio. Just saying there's more than one way to bring creativity to the table.

Verratti as an example of a creative mid but not Pjanic. :baus: Yeah Pjanic wasn’t creative at all and was primarily defensive. That’s why he spent half his career creating further up at Roma and Lyon. And then became a deep-lying playmaker here. Lol

    what a troll

Yeah, basically anything that Juve does is bad by default according to him. He’s like the anti-Badass.
Hard to argue with people who start with a conclusion and work their way backwards.

The meeting between Carnevali and Cherubini was very positive. The first evaluations have been made, Juve is offering 30mln and Dragusin, even if during the meeting other young players have been talked about. [Alfredo Pedulla]

The Negotiation has officially started between Juventus and Sassuolo for Locatelli. Sassuolo gave their 'OK' to sell Locatelli. Second meeting next week, they will go into details by talking about the formula(Di Marzio)
