These are the three GKs that we're currently linked with to be a back up for Buffon.

Yesterday Secco had a meeting with Granello and they talked about Manninger.

Antonioli's contract is set to expire this summer and he's going to turn 39.

Who do you prefer?

Manninger,Handanovic or Antonioli

i would chose handanovic but i would feel sorry for him to sit on the bench. He is really good Gk + he is slovenian :D He is very talented, our slovenian hero

i would like Handa to be our goalkeeper when buffon retires;)

Because he'd just play him sometimes considering we have Buffon so we'd just ruin his career.

    I'd be happy with Manninger.

I dont think we can get a good backup, because not too many goalies will accept sitting on the bench behind buffon, I say keep belardi.

Antoniolli might be just the perfect back up though.

I remember Antoniolli rejected Juve once 2 years ago because he said he would not play for a Serie B team, so I say fuck Antoniolli and get Manninger. Manninger was amazing in the last 10 Siena games

Manninger is great, but i dont see any good gk sign for us knowing they wont be seeing any playing time, probably signing a good golie is the hardest deal to pull at juve :p

Old Lady Eyes Former Arsenal Goalkeeper

The Bianconeri are looking for an experienced stopper as Gianluigi Buffon's understudy between the sticks. Juve are looking to bolster their squad in every position in light of their Champions League commitments next season.

The Old Lady were after Middlesbrough's Mark Schwarzer but he was not interested in being second choice and thus Juve have now turned their attention to Siena custodian Manninger.

The Austrian has impressed this season and he has the experience Secco is looking for. The current Juve number two Emanuele Belardi has not been too impressive this term when he has played and Ranieri would like someone more reliable.

Manninger is now Juve's first choice but should he fail to arrive then the Bianconeri will need to turn to plan B or, if you like, Serie B. Juve are also looking towards Bologna shot stopper Francesco Antonioli whose contract expires this summer and he would land on a Bosman.

Antonioli is a 38-year-old veteran who played for both Milan and Roma in the past. Reports also suggest the Bianconeri may even swoop for Livorno and Azzurri number two Marco Amelia. However, it's likely that Amelia will want first team football which may prove difficult given Buffon's brilliance in goal.
