i actually loved what camo did against arsenal, it humiliated crapello and it showed how outspoken camo is as a person, it being an humiliation to juve, was already done through the scoreline and performance

Was it 1-0 or 2-0?Anyway I can not find an excuse for him.He must control himself. This of course does not mean he is not a good player.

are you joking? im sick of the slating of camo, people here are only starting to only remember him for what the media has written about him more than his consistency and importance to the team, i dont think many of you here actually realise how indespensible camo is to our squad, who cares if he isnt super fast? why is everything in football about how fast you are? riquelme is not fast yet he is a talented player, trez is not fast yet he gets the goals, walcott has pace and wtf is he? a pile of trash, robinho has pace, and wtf is he? washed up in spain.
:agree:, nice post.

I can only think of two things his possibly disliked for, hmm maybe three. One being comments regarding him wanting to leave us.. The other being what he did at arsenal and finally maybe his enthusiasm on the pitch.

Regarding his comments, well I think it comes down to how his agents are manipulating his rather naive character. At arsenal, well all I can say is that if you still dislike him for that then seriously you need help. Finally as for his enthusiasm on the pitch I personally dont give a crap, they guy gives his all when he plays. Both for us and the national team, infact IMO he has been and proberly will continue to be the most underrated player. He is for me a true Juventino. Forza Camo.

Anyway back to the topic. I dont believe he will arrive, Roma aint gonna let someone like him go its all wishful thinking.

We needed him before, maybe 2 years ago ..
i dont see a place for Mancini in our team .. unless he will play in his old old old position RB .. that will be usefull ..

but if he is gonna take nedved or camo place , i prefer VDV to come instead of him

and why would we need him ..

WE HAVE MARCHIONI ..

Are you kidding me?!
a player like Mancini has room in any team he could start on the left side with Camo on the right Nedved and Tiago at the center with Almiron and Salihamidzic as subs

but I agree we should first complete our defence as this departmant is horrible at the moment (without the upcoming signing of Andrade) but still incomplete even with him
I absolutely agree with what you said, however, I meant, that its quite unlikely, taht we will sign a winger, as with got 4 of em, and thats enough!

Mancini's Liverpool threat

Amantino Mancini is using Liverpool’s interest in him to break through Roma’s salary cap and earn £2m per season.

“There has been interest from Liverpool for Mancini,” said agent Gilmar Veloz. “I have spoken with Rafa Benitez, but I answered they must deal with Roma.

“If the Giallorossi reach an agreement with the English club, we would need to meet to discuss the player’s future, but I have yet to receive an offer from Roma.”

The Brazilian’s contract expires on June 30, 2009 and he is eager to bump up his wages to at least £3m per season.

The club is unwilling to break through its £1.7m salary cap, but Veloz is using the interest from Liverpool as leverage to at least approach his target.

Roma will meet with Mancini’s agent next week to discuss an extension, as he currently earns just under £1m per season.

Newspaper 'Il Romanista’ reports that the key to keeping him in the capital could be a romantic one, as he has settled down with a local girl and she is not convinced that a switch to Liverpool would suit the couple.

The Brazilian’s price-tag rose considerably after his performances in the Champions League last term, including a sensational individual goal against Olympique Lyonnais.

Milan In For Roma's Mancini?

According to SkySport, the Rossoneri could go for the Brazilian winger to make up for the lack of purchases in the offensive department.

Amantino Mancini could become a target of Milan according to SkySport's "Speciale Calciomercato", as the Rossoneri are trying to sign a big name player to appease their fans who were promised an important transfer by the President, Silvio Berlusconi, in the past months, but nothing happened so far.

The arrival of Mancini to Milan might not be just speculation, as this comes a day after the arrival of Giuly to Luciano Spalletti's court, a player who plays in the same position of Mancini. However, Roma would rather hold on to the Brazilian, but considering their not so perfect financial position, it might be something they have to do.

This will not mean that the Rossoneri will stop there in their quest to find a top striker signing, but it would definitely make the summer of the Milan fans more interesting.

Mancini waits on Giallorossi
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Roma winger Amantino Mancini is set to sign a new deal at the Stadio Olimpico, according to his agent Gilmar Veloz.

The 27-year-old shone in the Giallorossi’s impressive 2006-07 campaign, but is unhappy with his current contract as it only offers a small pay rise each season.

Veloz has previously claimed that his client has attracted interest from high-profile European clubs, including Liverpool, but now is looking to negotiate a better settlement with the capital club.

“I’m waiting on Roma to find an agreement and that is the priority,” he told Radio Radio. “I have already spoken to sporting director Daniele Prade’ and Mancini has been in touch with chief Rosella Sensi.

“Amantino has expressed the desire to stay and now we are waiting for a response. He is a world-class player who has proven in Italy that he could play in any country.”

Veloz also represents Real Madrid’s Emerson who has recently been heavily linked with Inter and took the chance to rubbish speculation that the ex-Juventus man may return to the peninsula.

“Emerson has another two years on his contract at Real and I don’t want to talk about rumours that are untrue,” he responded.
