Man City asked Juventus for Del Piero
tribalfootball.com - September 1, 2005

Manchester City made an approach to Juventus for striker Alessandro del Piero this week.
Turin media reports state City made an official enquiry after the Italy international, whose future at Juve has been the centre of much debate this summer.

City wanted to take Del Piero on-loan this season, but Juve insisted on the Premiership club taking on 100 per cent of his wages, which quickly cooled their interest.

so if City had payed his wage...he would be gone, wow
and you belive that shyt?

Only Zalayeta, and even that isnt certain.

Trezeguet, Mutu and Zlatan are all better players than Del Piero.
OOh in the case of Zala isnt certain ? But with Trez, Mutu and Zlatan it is?
Just because you said so?? Get real....

Zlaty, the moderator position is doing a detrimental work with the way you speak. Now, you hold the truth for us mortals, higher God of football knowledge....

I dont disregard Zlatan opinion.
Read carefully. He is not stated that as his opinion, but as a fact., he said

"Trezeguet, Mutu and Zlatan are all better players than Del Piero."

That doesnt sound like an opinion, but as an uncontroversial fact.
An it is not.

Well in this case they are just reporting what the Italian media said. Can't blame tribal football if the Italian news is wrong (which may not be after all).

I think when someone writes something it is what he believes or thinks, thus opinion; that is of course if it is not supported by a source or reference to make it a fact.
