Maybe you would have if the other guy wasn't one of Fred, Tahir or Lion. But between Lion and Hoori, as a civilian, you'll always choose Lion.

This time you chose the more dangerous civilian. Plus, it was clear that Lion is a normal civilian, not one with a special role, while for Hoori, you knew that she's a civilian, but you didn't know if she has a special role.

If groups against one or two members are formed early in the game then the gangsters can vote differently to confuse us. This way they'll have to group against someone if they want to eliminate him.
